      I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Nonprofit HR (Washington, DC) in May 2013

      Interview

      After finding this position listed online, I submitted my materials through a former co-worker who had a connection in the firm. When I called to verify receipt of my materials, I was screened over the phone and then invited to an in-person interview. After my first interview, I was invited for a second round interview. At my second interview, I was able to meet some other members of the team and tour the office environment. The employees who interviewed me were very open and honest about the position, their expectations, the culture, and the type of candidate they were looking for. I felt confident that I knew what they thought about me as a candidate throughout the process. I was given ample information to prepare me for my interviews and to allow me to make an informed decision once an offer was extended. The whole process struck me as being transparent and efficient.
