I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2018
Interview
I applied, did a phone screen and went in for an interview all in the same week. I initially was interested in cosmetics since I freelance, but was asked if I could interview for a sales associate position which I agreed to (since I really needed a second job). My interviewer was really nice and asked me basic questions before finally having me do a mock sell to her with items on the floor. I was hired on the spot and started 2 weeks later. I just wish I would've pushed to stay within cosmetics.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (The Woodlands, TX) in Nov 2022
Interview
Horrible! They only had 4 positions available with 100-250 applicants for each! After I applied they sent me a generic email, stating to come to their job fair! Seriously? Why would they even have a job fair for only 4 positions in the entire store (of which 100's of candidates already applied)!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Will you come to our open house job fair on a specific date with tons of other candidates (after they had already filled the positions)?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Richmond, VA) in Jun 2022
Interview
The interview process was quite easy, I applied then received a cll back followed by an interview with their HR and then another with the cosmetics floor manager. All interviews were easy and I was offered the job on the spot.
