Interview
Applied on-line and was contacted a few days later via email to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was quick and consisted of basic questions like, "Why do you want to work at Nordstrom's?" "What is your experience with commissioned sales?" "Is your schedule flexible?"
At the end of the phone interview I was invited to come in for a personal interview with HR a few days later.

A few questions with someone then you’ll meet with a manager in a department they think you would good for. The department manager had me pick out an outfit for a pretend customer and describe why I picked certain items

Normal behavioral questions and questions related to retail experience/interest in fashion. Nice interviewer was low pressure experience. Interviewed by department manager. Heard back day of interview and started training very soon after.

Applied online. Got an email about a week later. Went in to a Seasonal Hiring Event. Interviewed with a manager. Most questions were situational questions. Very easy process. Offererred position on the spot.
