In-Person Interview
After passing the phone interview, you may be invited for an in-person interview at the store or a hiring event. This part of the process is more focused on assessing your personality, customer service skills, and whether you’re a good fit for Nordstrom’s culture.
You’ll meet with the store manager or department manager. Common interview questions include:
"How do you handle difficult customers?"
"Tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a customer."
"What does great customer service look like to you?"
They may also ask situational questions to gauge how you’d handle specific challenges or scenarios that can arise on the sales floor.
