I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Baltimore, MD) in Nov 2018
Interview
It was 15 minutes and very easy. We didn't go over technical questions, mainly just software engineering principle topics, workflow, communication skills, etc. It was very laid back and I got a sense that they were looking for someone who is a good team member with social and technical skills and has a good understanding of software principles/design.

Question 1
How would you execute an agile development workflow?
I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Huntsville Park, AL)
Interview
Technical questions and behavioral questions (STAR formatting) with the normal what draws you to work for us. Microsoft Teams meeting with a panel to review answers. Took roughly 1 hour and it was a very straightforward and easily made process.
Formal, not too stressful. Ensures you understand the basics and thay you know what you're talking about as you may be getting interviewed by somebody that's technical at some point.
The interview process was fairly straightforward; I have applied in March 2026 and got an interview in April 2026. It was a video interview on Teams with two other team members, just under an hour.
