I applied for the role by LinkedIn, and heard back 1 month after the deadline. Following an initial HR screening interview, I was invited for a panel interview and screening tests (numerical, verbal and business communication) all held via MS Teams. In the panel interview I had a 10 min presentation on the role of the organisation in the energy transition; followed by 1hr Q&A about the role and presentation, then 10 min HR Q&A. I was told this would be the end of the process, and would hear back in the next week. I was then invited back to have a coffee chat with a director, who asked basic CV questions and asked about how I would best fit into the team.
After this interview I was told I would hear very soon, but didn’t hear back until the next week.
I was told I was unsuccessful due to the score on the numerical test. If tests are key to the hiring process it would be good to be screened out before the panel interview as the preparation for that takes time. Just some advice.
