I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2022
Interview
After a phone screen and a Zoom call with the hiring manager, I was told they wanted to bring me in - but they were all offsite the whole next week so I had to wait a week. In the meantime, they had me meet the team via Zoom. One of the team members was such a jerk! She was reading HR Interview questions off her screen, rapid firing them at me and not listening to the answers. She was obviously working because she NEVER looked at the camera. Questions like, "Tell me about a time when you worked on a team and were not able to deliver on time." I don't work on teams, I'm an EA. She was awful. So, I take a day off of work to go to my in-person interview downtown on a Monday. On the train I check my email and realize they had cancelled my interview due to illness. On Thursday they finally responded to my Wednesday follow-up email to let me know they went with someone else who "more closely meets the qualifications," which is absolute nonsense.

Round one was a video interview with someone from HR. She seemed pleasant and spoke as if I had a good chance. The interviewer never followed up despite this impression and my sending a follow-up.
Took about 4 weeks, and got an offer afterwards. Everyone was friendly and had knowledge about the industry. I interviewed with 5x people on the team, all from hr to partners.

Interview
The interview process was great and they came back saying they had positive things to say about me but they’ll go for someone else. It was really weird as it wasn’t one person they were recruiting for. I thought the interview was great but the outcome was disappointing
