The headhunter spent the entire interview asking whether I preferred a commission-based or base salary role, explaining that the consultant position was commission-based and asking if I would be interested in it. They only asked me one question about myself. The rest of the time was spent with me asking the headhunter questions.
It was a bit strange that the job description and email were in English, but the headhunter switched to Cantonese to explain more about the role, despite mentioning that knowing all three languages was vital. They also mentioned wanting to contact me via WhatsApp but couldn’t find my number.
