I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenText (Sydney) in Sept 2024

      Interview

I recently had an interview that left me quite disappointed. The interviewer seemed unprepared, frequently fumbling through my resume and asking questions that were either irrelevant or too vague. The atmosphere felt rushed and unprofessional, making it difficult to gauge whether they were genuinely interested in my qualifications. Additionally, the lack of structure in the interview process led to a confusing exchange, and I left feeling uncertain about the role itself. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience that did not reflect well on the company.

      Question 1

What does DevOps mean to you
      1 Answer

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenText

      Interview

First call with HR (classic call around motivations, what do we know about the company etc) Second call with Sales Director (why sales role, why do you want to switch company) A sales director asked whether I was married and had kids. Pretty inappropriate, I was quite surprised that we keep asking this question in 2024

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at OpenText (Midtown New York) in Jul 2023

      Interview

The interview process was pretty standard. You meet with a Human Resources person first then a phone interview with a manager and then an in person interview with the manager.
