The interview was pretty technical, and even though I prepped a lot, I didn’t perform as well as I hoped. The interviewer came across as a bit condescending, and I felt like I was being mansplained to at times. At the end, I made it clear I was really keen on the role and happy to learn on the go if my technical knowledge wasn’t quite there. Funny thing is, they said they weren’t looking for someone with a technical background, but the questions didn’t reflect that. What’s been most frustrating is the lack of follow-up. I’ve been completely ghosted since the last interview—no rejection email, nothing. It just feels disrespectful as a candidate and leaves a bad impression of the process.
