Had an over the phone interview with the recruiting/HR person that called me. Lasted about 25 minutes. About a week later I got a call to schedule an in person interview with the branch manager. The interview at the branch was amazing. Very easy going interview. Only thing that caught me off guard was they asked me to sell them a pen that they had to see if I could sell or not, but it was easy. About 3-5 days later I called to see if they had made a decision and the branch manager told me they hadn't but that my name was up there with the rest of them, all while in reality they had chosen me but couldn't tell me while I called lol. Got a call about an hour later from the recruiter asking if I would like to accept the job. Very easy hiring/interview process.

Question 1
If the manager came to you with a task that needed to be done by the end of the day and have no direction on how to get it done, and the manager had to leave right away for a meeting that would take all day, how would you handle it?
I applied online. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Decatur, IL) in Sept 2020
Interview
I applied online but received an email from the Assistant Vice President/Recruiter in Indiana that I'd passed the teller assessment. That email had no signature, there were punctuation errors and she didn't identify herself so it came off unprofessional. Over a week/two weeks she didn't get back to me until she called me for a phone screening and it didn't seem like it was a serious offer. Then I spoke with the manager of the branch and ultimately the manager was way more professional than the HR talent rep I spoke to. I don't know if everyone deals with unprofessional behavior from the HR rep but it seems like may have been racially discriminating.

Cash handling experience, how you deal with customers, etc.
I applied online. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group
Interview
It was a group interview. There were four candidates and three current staffers--the hiring HR rep, the bank manager, and the assistant bank manager. All questions were posed to all candidates and we had to take turns answering. It was more like a focus group than an interview. I had no phone screen, just an email saying "be here at this time to do an interview."
