Interview
The interview process itself was professional and generally well run. Communication with the recruiter was timely, and the conversations felt respectful. I progressed far into the interview process without any major issues. One portion of the process involved responding to interview questions via a recorded assessment, which felt clunky and difficult to use, and made it harder to fully convey responses compared to a live conversation.
While I was already deep into the interview process, the role was reposted with a revised job description. The updated posting reflected a significantly expanded scope of work, including multi-entity support, increased operational and in-person responsibilities, errands, travel across the county, and handling of financial and logistical tasks. Lots of driving.
At the same time, the compensation shifted to a lower hourly pay range, which felt misaligned with the added responsibilities and overall complexity of the role. This made the position materially different from what was initially presented and from a standard Executive Assistant role within a healthcare organization.
In doing my own research during the process, I also came across a strong public political presence associated with the CEO that felt unusual to me given the organization’s focus on publicly funded healthcare populations. While this may not be a concern for everyone, it contributed to my personal hesitation around values and cultural alignment.
This role may be a fit for someone seeking a highly hands-on, founder-centric position across multiple businesses. However, candidates should ask detailed questions early about scope, boundaries, compensation alignment, and whether the role is still evolving, as expectations appeared to change during the interview process. As someone else mentioned in their review, there are many red flags here. The job description mentions the need for a lot of office visits- but none of the office addressed on the website seem legit. That, coupled with the CEO strong conservative political views, had me pass on the role.

Extremely Rapid Process Leading to Sudden Revocation of Offer—Potential Scam/Hiring Mismanagement
I applied for a Remote HR Coordinator role at Pacific Health Group via LinkedIn. The initial process was extremely fast: I was contacted within two days, completed an online skills assessment, and had a Google Meet interview with the HR Director and HR Manager.
At the end of the first and only interview, I was told I would hear about a second round the following week. However, the next day, I received a verbal job offer. We successfully negotiated the salary, and the company accepted my counter-offer the day after that.
The issues began when I requested a slightly later start date (3-4 weeks out) due to prior commitments, as opposed to their requested two-week start. After a scheduled follow-up call was missed, I received a call the following day stating they were no longer moving forward with my candidacy. The reason given was a sudden decision to no longer hire for the HR role, despite the position being posted for two months and the company mentioning they were planning to hire 2-3 people for a growing team.
Cautionary Note: The speed and abrupt reversal of the offer, coupled with the sudden elimination of a long-posted role, suggests serious mismanagement or raises concerns about the company's legitimacy. Given the lack of online presence (no reviews/information beyond their website), I urge other candidates to be extremely cautious. If I had accepted and given notice at my current job based on their verbal offer, I would have been unemployed the following week. This entire process was unprofessional and highly disappointing.

Interview
I took part in a screening interview and assessment for a role at this company. The assessment I took after the video interview with this company should be refined. There were lengthy multi-faceted behavioral style questions in this assessment that needed a video submission response in a short timed window. These questions could have been asked in the initial interview and would garner more authentic responses from candidates. After taking a closer look at the company, what became concerning to me was the lack of followers on the company LinkedIn page, and not being able to find any of the listed business location addresses from their website. Many if not all of the addresses for their listed locations are vacant including their contact/ corporate office location in Carlsbad, California. I understand that this a newer company going on two years of business, but their lack of social media presence and vacancies tied to their listed locations seems off. I would caution applying and interviewing for this company as their HR department seems inexperienced and relies on convoluted custom-made assessments. The impression I got from the interview is that this is a company who is still trying to get their footing in the industry and needs to mass post jobs to try and project growth. Proceed with caution.
