The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Feb 2012
Interview
I got the recruiter's information from a career fair held at my university. I followed up with Palantir and received an invitation to have a screening phone interview about a week later. The screener called on time, was very polite and friendly, and asked questions about binary search trees and lists. I answered them as best I could in the time allotted. The questions were fairly interesting - for example, how would you find three numbers that sum to 0 in a list? Definitely study up on your algorithms / data structures / O-complexity.

Question 1
How do you find three numbers that sum to 0? (in a list). Now can you do it under O(n^3)?
Initial recruiter call easy, followed by easy OA/hackerrank with 3 coding questions. Live coding question was also fairly easy. Recruiter call is heavy on culture fit and vibes. Coding questions are around Leetcode medium/easy.

Interview
After passing object oriented online assessment, I had a 20 minute phone call with a recruiter asking basic questions about resume. I was rejected 3 days later. He was nice but not incredibly engaged.

Question 1
Tell me what you liked and didn't like about your last experience on resume.
The interview process was long and well thought out. You had the opportunity to talk to many different individuals and they all spoke v highly of the firm. Each round has a unique quirk to it. They walk you through problems if you don;t know how to do it initially.
