I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (London, England)
Interview
Phone interview with recruiter; incredibly basic questions.
Second round was a great conversation with senior team member.
Able to establish about how relevant my current skillset is, found out about what the role involves, answered all questions absolutely fine and then got onto my questions for them.
I pushed to find out about the culture and the attrition of staff (due to burnout). I don't think they liked that.
They want the kind of mindless drone that goes into McKinsey, who thinks that it will be different from them than everyone else and that they will love it. I've been there and done that.
Promised they'd get back to me next day. Said they were very busy. Took a week and then rejection without any justification.
Pretty sure it's because I pushed to find out about the culture. I had no interest in joining an under-resourced, high pressure environment where the real way they make margin is through running you into the ground. So I dodged that bullet.
