Telephonic with HR, F2F. HR was not having any idea about the budget for this position. It was communicated during the telephonic with HR that expectation is 35-40 % hike. But when position was offered only 5% was offered in the very first instance which was very disappointing. Made a stop on my onward journey for interview and wasted a lot of my time. HR should have clarified in the first call itself that 5% is what we will offer you in the very first instance and/or this is our budget and we cannot go beyond that.
