Ghosted after completing coding assessment I applied for a software-related position at Partify and completed their coding assessment as part of the hiring process. I put time and effort into the assignment and submitted it as requested, but after that I never received any response or update. I understand that companies may choose to move forward with other candidates, but candidates should still receive basic communication after completing a technical assessment. Being ghosted after doing unpaid work feels unprofessional and leaves a poor impression of the hiring process. The assessment itself was reasonable, but the lack of follow-up made the experience frustrating. I would recommend that the company improve communication with applicants, especially after asking them to complete a coding challenge.
