I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PayPal (Chennai) in Feb 2020
Interview
It was one the most pathetic interview processed I had ever gone through. Starting from the HR - who is impossible to reach to and seems totally disinterested.
The panelists seemed extremely busy as if they had to create Corona Virus drugs to save people.
I got a positive feedback from the panelists and then received a rejection mail.
I suggest people do not waste time for PayPal interviews in India - they are definitely a wastage of time.

I applied online. I interviewed at PayPal (Bengaluru)
Interview
Had 3-4 rounds of interview which went well. Last round was more of a discussion and I was very hopeful of an offer but in the end they never came back. When I called the HR after 3 weeks , she said she has not heard a decision but suggested to not wait even though my feedback was positive . Seemed like an internal hiring in the end
