I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PetSmart (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in Aug 2019
Interview
Getting an interview was not hard for me. I filled out an application online after asking about job openings in person. They called me in for an interview, and, after successfully getting through it, told me I had the job. They said they would email me after the background check was completed. This is when things when awry. They never contacted me, and I had to go in person for them to even do the next steps. Then they told me they would contact me max 2 days later. After a back and forth process for a month, I let it go and started applying for other jobs. I don't know if this is unusual or not, but I for one was not going to work there after all that.
Called me into the store and asked basic questions about what I'd be comfortable doing and hours that I would want to work. Very simple overall. Got a call back a few days later
Very disorganized in the beginning but I finally got in touch with the right person and the remainder of the process was seamlless. They were willing to take a chance on me and I really appreciated that
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PetSmart (Plant City, FL)
Interview
Short and sweet. Offered job same or next day. Single interview and consisted of easy to answer questions and was with 2 managers, at the same time. Job was amazing! I only left due to a major car accident that caused a horrible back surgery.
