i originally applied for an engineering position. they sent me an email for an online assessment, the link for the assessment did not work and they gave me no point of contact, so i had to put a lot of extra effort to access it. i should have seen the red flags from that first step. anyhow, they interviewed me for that position, and i guess i was rejected ("i guess", because, obviously, applicants are not considered as humans so they don't even deserve an automated rejection email). then a few weeks later they reached out to me again for the quality assurance analyst position (which i had not applied for, keep that in mind), interviewed me again and told me that i should have applied for a better position because i had lots of research experience (!) this time i asked whether they would contact me for the outcome of my interview and they said that they would "until the end of the week". it's been about 10 months since then, still waiting for that email :) bonus points for the fact that they commented on my tattoos during the first interview in the context of me being "unsanitary" for the production line. yes, obviously, i have tattoos therefore i am a criminal and i don't shower. by far the most disrespectful company experience i've had since the beginning of my career. you need to treat people better. even if you don't hire them, they're humans.
