My interview process consisted of 1 interview with the Hiring Manager and the department head. Sufficed to say that I was massively unimpressed when they told me that 'they are going to offer me the position but they can't until the current person in the role leaves' Subsequently the person in the role did not leave and thus the offer was non existent .I found this process incredible unprofessional for 'experienced' professionals who should not have interviewed this position in the first place. If I was the CEO of this company I would seriously be questioning what my talent leaderships teams are doing to manage candidate experience and 'common sense'.
