I interviewed at Phlo (UK) (Bethnal Green, England)
Interview
There was an initial screening call after the application to discuss experience and describe the environment and the job role and responsibilities. After that there was a video interview with two people which had some basic background questions followed by situational judgement questions which was quite standard. This was all followed by a short site visit where you meet the team.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Phlo (UK) (London, England) in Jan 2021
Interview
They took over 3 months, 4 interview stages and one practical test to tell me I'm not the right candidate. The salary they offered was 15k below the market rate. The employees seemed nice, but I was interviewed by people who didn't have too much experience in the field (or at all) and the feedback I got was ridiculous, nothing related to my case study or my research. I properly made sure my research findings matched theirs and they even told me they will steal some ideas from my presentation. I laughed and saw it as a good sign - they must like me, I must have done a good job!
But they ghosted me for 4 weeks and came back with a very corporate email that seemed written by someone who never attended those interviews and made up some random reasons.
I heard things changed, your salaries increased and the people who interviewed me left the company, but this doesn't change the fact that I lost so much time and built so much hope for nothing. Very very embarrassing.
