The interviewer came onto the call and started asking basic questions. This was one of those HR basic calls where it's not technical questions. As they kept asking I realised they'd clearly not even read my cv. There were basic things like my current location which they clearly had no idea about. They asked me where I was based, I answered and they were genuinely surprised... Honestly the most simple thing to have checked before calling. I also see the company posting job adverts on linkedin that have contradictory information. This company clearly needs to emphasise their HR budget more.. I told them I needed at least one, maybe two months for my notice period. They told me that was too much. Credit to them at least for honesty and directness.
