They moved the date on my interview twice. Then asked a bunch of general questions about java, and asked me to implement basic Crud endpoints. I answered all their questions and covered all edge cases, and the next week they told me they were looking for someone "else". I asked for any examples of anything I missed or areas I could improve, and they just told me, "we don't give answers as a policy."
Felt very disrespectful and dishonest overall.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PlainID (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Dec 2025
Interview
1. Skills and experience discovery and technical interview
2. Support Ticket answer
3. "Technical Presentation"
For 3, I didn't even get to GIVE my technical presentation. There were two managers on the call and the second manager (who wouldn't have even been my direct boss) decided to derail the entire presentation and ask me an extremely specific question. Totally frustrating process and a huge waste of time on my end because this clown decided to ignore the entire process and instead subject me to a round of 20 questions. I spent all weekend preparing that presentation and didn't even give it because someone who wouldn't have been on my team anyway decided to sabotage it. Super frustrating. Don't apply for this company.

Interview
HR phone call, Home assignment, F2F interview with VP HR, recommendations, passed all steps, but didn't get an offer. Interviewers were fair and friendly. The home assigmenet wasn't too hard and demanded a bit research.
