I've initially applied for the position via their website. Post reviewing my resume and experience in 2/3 business days, a member of the HR Team e-mailed me to set-up an initial phone interview. A member of the HR team was extremely pleasant and the phone interview consisted of examining my past experiences, why my desire to move to Point B, visa status and salary expectations. The great thing about Point B was that it was one of the few firms whom managed my expectations in terms of timeline and responses.
Post the initial interview, they scheduled a face to face interview at a restaurant with one Point B Senior Associates. It was extremely pleasant and we discussed - why you want to move to Point B, my experiences (project as well as business development) as well as how I would fit into Point B. The interview was more of a conversation and it was extremely pleasant. After couple of days, I've gotten confirmation that they wanted to schedule an interview with one of the local Partners in New York. It was the same type of interview but had to complete a written case prior to the interview date. Much like before - it was an extremely friendly and fluid conversation rather than an interview. It really focused more on business development and how I could help grow the team in New York (since they are expanding here quickly).
Post the interview, they wanted to schedule a final round interview (which would be based in Seattle/Chicago/West Coast) and just due to client commitments (on my end) as well as receiving an offer that I had to sign - I had to withdraw my application.
Overall: Experience was fantastic - everyone with the process (HR, Recruiter and Point B Partners/Consultants) were extremely friendly but also transparent throughout the process. Sadly this time the timing/circumstances did not align but in the future I would love to apply/work for Point B
