One of the worst interview experiences in my 12 year career. At first I had a great call with HR and the position seemed like a great fit, but the in-person interview was bizarre. The interviewer mainly talked about the company and how awesome it was to work there -- so much so it seemed cult-like. Very little questions about my skill set and no time for questions of my own. I even brought project examples which the interviewer was uninterested in looking at. The interview seemed rushed even though they knew I drove 3 hours to be there. And after less than an hour of being there, I trucked the 3 hours home -- only to receive an automated rejection email a few days later. No real feedback from a human being. I pressed for answers but to no avail. If they were not respective of my time during the interview process, I can only imagine was it's like to actually work there. They can scream "how great it is to work here" as much as they want but it turns out it's all smoke and mirrors.
