I was contacted by the Head of People via LinkedIn. She said my profile was a good match and I should consider applying. I applied for the position, and got a response quickly.
The person in the Head of People position set up a Google Video interview for the two of us. It was fine. She asked pretty general questions to get an idea of the type of employee I am.
After our interview, she contacted me to schedule a second Google Video interview with one of the owners of the company. This interview was also very casual and lasted about 25 minutes. The questions were pretty general, as this is a new company and he mentioned he was new to this process himself.
What frustrates me is that I never heard anything after the second interview. I'm assuming the position was filled. I'm not upset that I didn't get the job, but I find it rather unprofessional that I was not notified about it. There is one other review on here that mentions the same thing. After you put people through the time and energy of interview(s), have the courtesy to let them know they didn't get the job.
