Appreciate that the motor trade has a close knit network, however hiring your mate or relative as a ‘favour’ is often overlooked by Human Resources. Was great a few years back when we had a bit of Pulman culture; the departments are a mess at present given the lack of experience newbies have. It can go one way or another here.
