Interviewed for assistant property management position, Interview with Kim van Gog went well and easy enough, very casual and in casual setting. She was however dishonest in that the not a single mention of reception duties were made, but when work started it was THE primary duty you were expected to perform, over and above any other tasks assigned to you in random fashion.
Kim's four franchises (Mount Eden, Parnell, Ponsonby, West Auckland) are run from a single office, which meant you were inundated with reception duties on a frequent basis, constantly being interrupted, leaving a haphazard and disorganised routine to your every day, with Kim regularly being the cause of much disruption herself.
Any applicant at Kim's franchises should be absolutely clear to what any roll envolves, before signing up for any position. Reception duties in my contract was listed as by-line under "other duties", but ended up being the primary duty.
You have been warned.
