Efficient, structured process. Transparency around the timeline and next steps. Started with HR screening and then two interviews. Interview questions after HR screening were a little bit odd and off putting in selling the role and team.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2025
Interview
Multiple rounds, including an HR screener, a technical (code) interview, a round with the hiring manager, and with his manager. They were not clear about the exact process up-front. My interview with the hiring manager was titled "final interview", but then was asked to come to another interview after.

Question 1
The technical interview was done live (without a computer), but they asked code questions. For some of the questions, they asked me to write down sql code on paper. The questions were pretty straight-forward, such as how to summarize a statistic which required joining two tables and aggregating.
