Walked in after an online listing listed "Walk-ins only" for the interview procedure. Spent several minutes filling out a paper form that didn't have much room to write on, then spoke to the head boss.
Questions were fairly amiable and he wanted to know why I wanted to work there. As we started to wrap up, a massive red flag was revealed; he doesn't allow his employees to discuss their wages. "People get into fights over this, and I'll fire you if you even state what you earn on your paycheck."
At the time I was naive enough to not realize this was Labor violation, but I wasn't given the job either way. But those kinds of policies? Yeah, good luck finding people to work for you.
