The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Robert Bosch (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interviewer did not seem too interested, and did not actually ask a lot of specific questions but mostly expected you to present yourself but they barely engaged in the conversation.
They presented the company benefits, and when I asked about some specific requirements about the job that directly affect your ability to use those benefits, they did not have the answer. It was clear that they did not fully clarify internally what this position would require.
They present hybrid work as a benefit without any limitations but when asked about the specifics for this role, it was clear that this could mean from 0% to 100% in office because it would basically depend on what they decide based on whatever mood.
They presented occasional work travel as part of the role and when asked about the frequency, they did not have any indication of it.
It was a regular interview process: first call with HR representative, then a technical interview with the manager of the team and then a final discussion where the entire offer was presented and the conclusion of the interview.
I analyzed the BOM for all oxygen sensor variants, mapping each component by cost, complexity, and supplier. I reviewed the supplier footprint across Germany, Czech Republic, China, and India, factoring in logistics lead times and landed costs. Using supplier cost breakdowns (materials, labor, overhead, tooling), I built comparative cost models to identify savings levers. This analysis highlighted localization opportunities and guided supplier consolidation and platform standardization.
I applied online. I interviewed at Robert Bosch (London, England) in May 2025
Interview
Pretty straightforward, 4 stage interview.
Phone call, On line, In Person, On line.
No silly games - didn't feel like an interview at all.
Process was well explained by the HR rep and I knew all the key dates. They were very helpful with transparency on timelines and role expectations.
