Interview
Online application. They called me a few months ago for a location that was too far away. I asked them to keep my application on file in case something opens up closer to where I live. They called a month later asking to interview for a better location.

Interview
It was a 4 on 1 interview which was somewhat intimidating, but the group was calm and collected, making it more comfortable. I felt that the interview went very well and I felt very confident walking out. I was told I would hear back the following week because background checks take about 5 days to conduct, but received an email two days later saying I was not selected for further consideration "because my skills and experience did not match the position." I have experience working with offenders, have a Master's degree in criminology & criminal justice, and this is an entry-level position, so I'm not sure I can agree with that statement. I don't know if it had to do with the fact that I am a female of shorter stature, but that is just speculation. I just wish the email wasn't sent from a noreply address, or someone would have called me instead, so that I could have asked them exactly what my disqualifications were and how I could improve in the future.
