During the interview process, I was asked for personal information about my family background including their education background whatsoever, which felt unrelated to the role and my professional qualifications. I believe interviews should focus on a candidate’s skills, experience, and job fit rather than private family details. I was also informed that I would receive an update after the interview, but I never heard back. Even a simple rejection message would have been appreciated. I hope the company can improve its interview relevance, boundaries, and candidate communication going forward.
