      Sales Interview

      10 Jan 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

      I interviewed at S&P Global

      Interview

It was a very nice process, several stages to go through to meet all the major team members and to show your qualifications. Overall, the process was very well organised.

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at S&P Global

      Interview

The process took MONTHS and was awfully painful. Heard there were five stages overall spread out over three months and with zero updates in between. I had to wait nearly a month to hear that I’m through to the next stage. Got rejected somewhere in between but received zero feedback in the end. I found that quite disrespectful for a company of this size and for the fact that a lot of time and effort has gone into it to prepare for these interviews. I have been working for a few years now, have attended many interviews with many large corporates but never had such an awful interview experience, not even at startups or mid-sizes.

      Application

I interviewed at S&P Global (Houston, TX)

      Interview

Multi-step interview process, first round with HR, second round with someone within the dept, and third with 2 managers. I was rescheduled without notice just an hour before the third interview and when I was deferred for another candidate, I had to reach out to ask what the status of my application was. I was told it was still being considered and to wait, but when I reached out weeks later, they had gone in another direction. Totally fine, but upfront communication would have been great.
