      Interview

After making space for them in your life with multiple interview rounds, they ghost you for no particular reason. They don't even bother to give you feedback. I wonder how this modus operandi is beneficial to the company's reputation! Not the best strategy to attact new talents. Please don't waste your time interviewing with them. There's no way you can get an offer

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at S&P Global (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Apr 2025

      Interview

It was good. They were friendly. Mostly asked behavioural and previous work-related questions. It helps to have a background in financial writing, but it is not a must. Would suggest ensuring you resume highlights your strengths, as most questions will be based on those.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at S&P Global (São Paulo, São Paulo)

      Interview

The interview process was long. It started with a 30 minute screening interview with HR. Then there was a hiring test which can take up to 2 hours (unpaid). It includes a 30 minute maths test (fractions, weighted averages, ratios, that kind of thing), a 30 minute reporting test, a 30 minute writing test and then a 30 minute editing test. Once the test was approved and I passed, I then had a 45 minute interview with two managers over Zoom or Teams. The questions aren’t your typical ‘what are your strengths’ etc; rather, they are very tailored to the candidate and sometimes spontaneous based on what my answers were. I found this part of the interview very dynamic. The downside was it took a lot of time to do the interview and prepare for it - basically a full working day. They also took weeks and weeks to get back to me with the final decision.
