I applied through the official career website, and I indicated that I am on F1 visa (may need visa sponsorship in the future). I got the interview invitation from the recruiter. I prepared for the interview, but the first question the recruiter asked was 'what is your visa status'. I could not go further after I answered I am on F1 OPT. Why did the recruiter reached out to me even though I indicated my visa status at the application, and they do not sponsor visa? I totally wasted my time preparing for the interview.
