I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sanofi in Mar 2011
Interview
I did not come from a background in sales but landed a specialty sales position. The interview started with the recruiter who asked me some tough questions about why I wanted to do this and if I knew what to expect from the job. He then coached me and gave me some background reading. The interview questions from the company were very relevant and good. How my previous experience relates to sales? What would I bring that other candidants wouldn't? etc. Then spoke with the director and country manager. Overall, long and nerve racking but good interview process.
Phone Screen. Two interviews. Final panel interview. Lengthy process but overall not too bad. Professional colleagues did show respect and presented themselves as engaged and personable. Postives were the following, solid company culture, history in the industry and respected.
