I interviewed at Scottish Woodlands (Galashiels, Scotland)
Interview
Very awkward 4 person panel interview, applied for one job got interviewed for a completely different role , everything was a bit hush hush regarding any information that could give me , not a pleasant experience
I was initially very excited about the prospect of working with Scottish Woodland. The interview process itself was fairly standard—two rounds, which went well. However, I was told I would receive an update by the end of the week or the following week. It has now been nearly three weeks, and I have heard nothing.
I even followed up with the HR contact, only to be completely ignored. Being ghosted after investing time and effort into an interview process is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. Candidates deserve basic courtesy, even if they are not selected.
If this is how they treat people during the hiring process, I can only imagine what the internal culture is like. Very disappointing experience.
One phone call with the HR as the initial process. The HR didn’t seem engage in the interview process, no active listening, and not willing to answer questions from applicant. Overall, it was not a pleasant candidate experience predominantly because of interviewer’s attitude. Withdrew the application after the call. Don’t want to work for a company like this
