      Technical Graduate Role Interview

      30 Nov 2025
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 9 months. I interviewed at Shell (London, England) in May 2025

      Interview

Stage 1: video recorded answers to various broad questions relating to why Shell, why me, etc Stage 2: 1 hour or so phone call (essentially a sense check, is this guy legit) this took a few months to get Stage 3: 3 hour video interview covering business cases, personal story, background, basic competencies. Notably not many technical "give me the formula for" type questions which are pretty common.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What have you done in the last few years out side of uni to demonstrate or grow your competencies/understanding of the broader energy sector
