      Staff Landman Interview

      30 Oct 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shell (Houston, TX) in Aug 2010

      Interview

Very detailed interview. Questions were primarily situational and behavioral type questions. Basically asked every question under the sun. Very professional interview process, no bulling around, straight to the point. Shell seems to prefer hiring attorneys for thier landmen positions. The hiring manager was fantastic but I can not say the same thing about their inhouse recrutier. Zero communication after the interview.

      Question 1

Primarily behavioral type questions, some technical.
