I applied through other source. I interviewed at Sheridan's Unforked
Interview
The hiring manager messages me on indeed on when we can schedule a meeting. I reply I could go the next day, I moved another meeting to go there.
I meet the the hiring/ supervisor, she has her Airpod on during work and during our meeting. She asks me a few questions, I respond them. She goes over the company overview talking about the diversity & culture of company, how they hired a 17 year old to one of the roles. Lastly telling me that the position pays $4 an hour, the Missouri state minimum is $8, red flags, she suggests that her brother the business development is trying to look for a pay benefit model where they give tips to all employees instead select few, second red flag!
They tell me if I have any questions, I ask does the leadership team also train the employees. Do your company follow through on promises? They respond to yes to both questions.
She says that she be glad if I come the following day to have a second interview with her Business of Operations brother. I tell her I'm available.
I arrive the following day to interview an employee tells me I look professional how I dressed. I thank her, I was thirty minutes early and was prepared. They go look for her to tell them I was there, I wait five minutes, they come back that she's in a meeting and doesn't have plans to interview that day, would I be open to move my schedule to another meeting.
Short summary: They pay below wages, they make promises they don't keep.
