      My interview was almost an entire day where I met with a number of people from marketing, product and recruiting. I had conversations that were mostly duplicative but overall not a bad experience.

      I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shopify in Apr 2022

      Interview

      A very lengthy and odd process. Started with a phone screen, then a 30 min with the hiring manager, followed by what they call "Life Story" which is an hour with an HR person going through your background taking notes. From there there are 3 more one hour interviews, all with different focuses. It's like the Hunger Games.

      Very transparent. Everyone I met was great and very easy to talk to. Big focus on culture. My only note would be they offered to give me feedback after I didn't make it past the case study round but never did. I even followed up a few times. That left a bit of a damper for me.
