I was contacted by a recruiter who asked to schedule a call, but they never replied afterwards. I followed up again just in case the recruiter missed my email but still received no reply. I found it very disrespectful and unprofessional.

I first had an initial 30 minute screen with the recruiter followed by a life story interview with the same recruiter. I had already told most relevant material to the recruiter so I was a bit surprised when the life story interview was scheduled with the same recruiter. Even in the phone screen, the recruiter was constantly interrrupting me with her questions and confirmations and the same pattern escalated in the life story interview. I wouldn't call it a story as she never let me complete a train of thought without interruption or a question. She even asked questions which were not relevant to the job role. She would not let me go two sentences without probing for something which was not relevant to the job role. I had a very negative vibe after the interview and I felt that my privacy was violated. I am a highly educated professional with substantial experience and I have told my lifestory in conversations with very senior executives. I felt that this recruiter had no respect for my experience and was just trying to tick boxes and follow a script. Also the fact that this interview was assigned to the same recruiter with whom I had a prior detailed screen showed lack of interest of the hiring manager. I had shared a very detailed resume and if my experience wasn't a fit, they could have determined it from my application but to interview a senior candidate in such an arrogant and disrecpectful fashion left me with no interest in pursuing a role in this particular department.
