I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Siemens (Bengaluru) in Dec 2012
Interview
The interview consisted of a telecon round and then called for face to face interview in Bangalore. There were a couple of rounds with the manager. I was called for a face to face for a second time to meet the HR to discuss further. Even in this round, only the manager spoke and told that I could meet the HR manager only if I was interested in the salary he mentioned. I insisted on speaking to the HR and he then reluctantly allowed me to speak. The HR mentioned the same as what the manager said and spoke about work life balance. I told that my existing company already supports it.

Other Technical Leader interview reviews for Siemens
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Siemens (Bengaluru) in Feb 2025
Interview
First two rounds were really good. Both the interviewers were professional and empathic. But the last interview with Mr. Amit Kumar was terrible.
He rejected me because he thought I had more experience in Devops than in Python. I spent one hour taking him through my work in development using Python such as developing RESTAPIs, tools, pipelines and such.
He was unresponsive most of the time and he did not even know what SRE means. Clearly shows how some people are stuck in their old ways. I am writing this in frustration because, I lost my chance to work here because of this person and how he could not comprehend what I was talking through out the interview. I would have taken it positively if I had been rejected due to my technical shortcoming but unfortunately this is not the case.
Forget about me, but imagine how many potential and deserving candidates Siemens must have lost because such blunders from people in his positions.
