The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Solution21
Interview
Applied for the position and was asked by HR to come in for an interview so I set a time and date with them. Upon showing up to my interview they seemed confused and the staff members who were suppose to hold the I review were apparently busy? Wasted my time with another member of the team who clearly was not prepared to hold and interview and kept asking basic questions about my experience which was all listed in front of him on my resume.
If you want to work here be sure to hold a phone interview with these guys before you waste your time going into the office for an interview. After reading some of the reviews I am no longer interested in this company the office environment seemed very negative and depressing.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Solution21 (Irvine, CA) in Sept 2019
Interview
Applied and received request for interview . (Red flag 1) No initial phone screen or contact.
Went to interview (1:1); interviewer was looking at my resume for the first time. Interviewer (the boss) started asking random questions.
Interviewer said experience is only 30% of what they are looking for; then offered 30% salary off the listed $25-$35/hr. That's $8.33-$11.66/hr.
If we went line by line on my resume with the job listing, it would have been a good match. The interviewer obviously did not read the job listing or the job listing inaccurately represented the role. I had the job listing with me, but I didn't want to go line by line. If there is already a discrepancy between the boss's perception of a role, and the actual job listing, then I don't think that would go well for anyone working there.
I don't like the reviews that tell people to run because it could have just been a one off experience or bad reviewer. So I'm just going to give advice for someone serious about a job here.
1. Schedule a phone screening. In the screening, verify the job description. Yeah that sounds crazy, but you've been warned.
2. In the interview, bring a copy of the job listing, then go over the job with the interviewer.
Tbh the entire process was ridiculous and I would not recommend. I took the interview because the listing had a somewhat competitive salary. No surprise, I was lowballed. I wouldn't be surprised if the interviewer makes up random reasons to lowball you regardless of how the interview went.
If you're desperate, I would definitely recommend applying to this company to see how the hiring/interviewing process should not be done.
I hope the company reads this review and takes action on it. If they don't, no surprise.
This is the first time a company scheduled an interview without an initial phone screen. Moving forward, I would never consider an interview without a phone screen.

Interview
Set up an interview and confirmed - Called as instructed and the contact didn't answer - Left a voicemail and never heard back. I understand things happen on occasion, but it was disrespectful and disappointing to not get a return phone call or follow up email. Lack of follow through causes me to not recommend this group.
