Interview process was completely unprofessional and not well managed. I knew right from the start of the interview that this was not the place to work at. In fact, I started to give BS answers because of how bad the interviewer was, knowing well enough that this would be the last time I’d be in the restaurant. They placed all interviewees on one table and I had to wait over 40 minutes after my scheduled time slot (keep in mind the interview was only 5-8 min). The manager then proceeds to ask what position i’m applying for and says that the position I applied for is not available-then why did you post the job application and choose to mass hire?? He then proceeded to only look at his phone and seemed super uninterested. After looking at the reviews though from former employees, I feel like I dodged a bullet. It also seems like they only want to hire certain “type” of people if you know what I mean.
