I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at St. John's Health (Kansas City, MO)
Interview
It was very good. Recruiter asked lots of questions about experience. I also mentioned that I had a Master degree and certifications achieved. This company has a lot of opportunities
I applied online. I interviewed at St. John's Health
Interview
I was a new RN graduate from Central Wyoming College Nursing School with zero experience in health care prior to nursing school. Application is on-line. I was contacted by HR within 1 week by phone at which point a telephone interview was conducted. HR personnel were very kind and supportive. An on-site interview was set up for the following week at which point I met with department directors who had openings for RN positions within their departments. The interview process took about 2 hours. Directors were all very kind, asked direct questions, mostly about my previous work experiences (nothing vague or abstract). 1 week later I was called back and offered 2 positions from which I had to choose. I accepted a position right on the spot, went on a short tour of the hospital with HR person, and scheduled an orientation day. Overall it took about 3 weeks from application to orientation.
