There was a screening round which was supposed to go on for 30 minutes but ended up taking an hour. Discussion was revolving around tech stack you worked on and the projects you worked on. The product therms are building is quite interesting, however the discussion was to test your technical depth and the lead engineer seemed to know what he was talking about, and my answers were to the point and explored topics in depth, but the 2nd panelist had questions like how does the future look like for developers since we are witnessing AI revolution in the industry, but my answer which stated that depth in technical knowledge and product oriented mindset was not well received I think, even though my answers had the depth to it and had all the merits, it felt like since I was not willing to accept that developers will be replaced by AI, I was rejected after a day stating that I did not have enough depth, which I feel is an incorrect statement. Also if that was the case, this should have been stated in the follow up questions that I asked about a review and should have highlighted the areas where I seemed to have no depth. But instead the next rounds were explained.
