The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Starbucks in Oct 2011
Interview
i went into the job fair for the interview. as i had prepared for the interview for quite some time, i didnt find it very hard and the the interview lasted for about 30 mins or so. after the first round of interview, the store manager was gonna call the district manager for second round interview. however, the lady there later told me that she would contact me later. after a day, i got a call, and the lady rejected me due to my availability and the fact that i was not able to work more than 20 hours a week.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
