I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Starbucks (London, England) in Feb 2011
Interview
The interview process consisted of two parts: the first, was a regular interview in which they asked why I was interested to work in starbucks, my knowledge about the company, what could I bring to the company plus some scenario questions like: how would you react if a collegue was unfear to you, how would you deal with a difficult customer, and more questions of that sort that I can't remember.
The second part, was a trial day. I worked for four hours with the team. After that, I was offered the job.

Question 1
Why do you want to work for us? ( who really cares about them; I just needed a job?
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
After applying online they invited me for an online interview that was a group interview then the next stage would have been a one to one digital interview over zoom.

Question 1
What's a difficult customer interaction you've had?
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
